Sales Ledger Assistant – Cintra

Job Title:            Admin Assistant (Sales Ledger)

Location:             Glasgow City Centre

Contract:             Fixed Term

Hours:                  Full Time (37.5hrs per week)

Salary:                  £13,000 – £15,000

Position Summary

Cintra is an enterprise multi-cloud integrator and managed services provider at the forefront of the evolution of enterprise workload migration to the cloud, successfully moving some of the largest applications and database workloads to private and public cloud platforms.  The company has a global presence with offices in New York, UK, and India.

Position Requirements

  • Provide regular administrative support to the finance department
  • Accurately manage the flow of sales orders and invoices
  • Ensure that all projects are created correctly as per our sales documents
  • Create new customer accounts and manage customer queries
  • Prepare and email weekly customer statements
  • Maintain the accuracy of customer details
  • Prepare and record customer payments
  • Provide first level reporting from finance package software around aged receivables
  • Chase customers for payment
  • Ensure that timesheets are submitted on a weekly basis
  • Support UK and USA finance team with ad-hoc requests for data analysis (Referring any complex questions to appropriate senior-level finance staff or management)
  • Provide basic level user access support for the finance software package to existing users
  • General office duties

Skills Requirements

A successful candidate will be a motivated and driven individual who is a self-starter and has a passion to develop their career in finance.  In addition, the ideal candidate would have the following skills:

  • Follow detailed process and instructions
  • Analytical and able to resolve complex problems
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Familiarity with File Manager and using internet search engines
  • Previous exposure to accounting software useful but not essential

Qualifications and Certifications

  • National 5 or other relevant experience
  • Prior technology and company office experience preferred
  • Microsoft literate including MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint essential
