Job Title:         Financial Services Administration Assistant

Hours:             9am-5pm Monday to Thursday 9am- 4pm Friday

We are Whole of Market Independent Financial Advisers who are part of Fairstone Financial Management Group who are the UK’s largest Chartered IFA Business.

Work Environment:

Working in a small team with the office based in the West End of Edinburgh.

What might a day in this job look like?

You will be working alongside another employee supporting up to 4 advisors.

Normal office administration duties which will include answering the telephone, greeting clients as the enter the office, dealing with client queries on a day to day basis, client data entry, assisting with new client’s applications, assisting with existing client reviews, organising client reviews, prepare illustrations. Liaise with admin centres/third party providers on any business submission queries. Maintain accurate and up to date client information. Help to run a paperless office e.g. scanning documents and loading client information onto the digital database

What will I Learn?

Providing Financial Services Level 3 SVQ

What Qualifications / Qualities are required?

English & Maths to a good standard and Microsoft Office skills are required.

We are looking for someone who is positive, reliable and enthusiastic and who has an interest in a career within Financial Services. Great Communication skills are required due to dealing with clients on a daily basis.
