An SVQ in Customer Service allows candidates to demonstrate competence and understanding of job-related skills in the workplace. We offer this particular qualification at levels 2 & 3 (SCQF Level 5 & 6).
The SVQ 2 (SCQF 5) covers communicating in a customer service environment and delivering customer service professionally. SVQ Level 3 (SCQF 6) includes understanding of customer service and the rules that impact on improvements in customer service.
These qualifications have been made in association with the Skills CFA Sector Skills Council. The qualifications are awarded together in order to ensure relevance to the sector.
SVQs are based on National Occupational Standards (NOS). SQA works in partnership with other organisations: this ensure that the standards are not only met but are relevant to the needs of the Scottish industries.
