The Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) in Business and Administration is created to provide an individual with the skills and knowledge working in a business and administration environment. The qualification will demonstrate competence in their job role. Limelight Careers deliver this SVQ at level 2 & 3 (SCQF 5 & 6).
SCQF level 5 is constructed of units that will test the candidates performance and knowledge with their role. There are three mandatory units covering undertaking allocated work, communicating and managing own performance in a business environment. With a wide range of optional units candidates are able to pick the ones most suited to them. Please find the attachment at the bottom of this page for more information.
At SCQF level 6, candidates will cover units that require more detail. This qualification requires responsibility and autonomy. There are three mandatory units covering managing workload, communicating and planning, and improving own performance in a business environment. There is again a wide range of optional units so the candidate will always be able to choose the right unit for them. Please find the standards attached below.
