Work Environment:
Working in a small team, office based in a plant workshop environment. Vehicle and construction plant servicing takes place downstairs and the MA will be in contact with the mechanics and the Workshop Foreman, as well as the Plant Manager and Plant Assistant.
What might a day in this job look like?
Process all plant & workshop admin, hire deliveries & collection notes, damage charges, internal stock charges.
Update daily plant & vehicle service records, ensuring MOT & tax dates are met.
Maintain internal plant database recording all plant & transport hire movements.
Liaise with workshop foreman informing him of plant required to meet the daily hire needs.
Maintain lifting accessories, calibration & lifting insurance register
Ensure all telematic devices are operational on a daily basis & add new vehicles to the Telogis system.
Carry out any other related tasks as agreed.
What will I Learn?

SVQ Level 2 (possibly advancing to level 3) in Business Administration
Industry related training / qualification (i.e. MS Office / IBM Notes, Navision
What Qualifications / Qualities are required?
A minimum of National 4/5s including English and Maths or equivalent is required for this role.
