Job Title: Junior Cashroom Assistant

Department: Finance, Business Services

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week

Contract type:  Permanent

Location: Edinburgh

Responsible To: Cashroom Manager


To contribute towards the daily operation of an efficient and effective cash room service, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and integrity of data are maintained at all times. In addition all Law Society Accounting rules should be adhered to.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing daily client postings
  • Process payment of fees
  • Process expenses and scanning
  • Process credit card expenses and scanning
  • Assist in processing client and firm invoices

    Person specification:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • A proactive individual, with ability to work under tight deadlines
